From the supplier: The increasing dependence of nonprofit organizations on professional fund-raising firms has adversely affected morale among fund-raising volunteers. However, nonprofit organizations can utilize the services of volunteers in conducting ‘thank-a-thons.’ ‘Thank-a-thons,’ a program in which donors are personally thanked on the phone, allow volunteers to actively participate in the fund-raising process.
